As a senior driver, you have one great advantage: experience. What you may lack in quick reflexes, you can make up for in sound judgement. Your good judgement will likely tell you when to steer clear of certain adverse adverse driving conditions, such as bad weather, night driving, and congested, congested, high traffic roadways. You may be less tense and more comfortable travelling on routes that provide ample ample lighting, well-marked street signs and easy-to-reach parking places. The topic of the meeting will be the "Ability OnLine Support Network," a computer network which puts children and adolescents with disabilities in touch with each other. ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH BAZAAR - The annual church bazaar is on Saturday, November 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. It will include refreshments, baking, craft tables, a white elephant table, and lots more. Firefighters Climb Stairs for United Way Got a fire you want extinguished upstairs? No sweat! Not for these three physically fit firefighters. Ted Ruiter of Courtice Station, Henry Gassmann of Enniskillen, and George Schroor, also of Courtice, Courtice, recently made it up the 1760 steps of the CN Tower in full gear. The climb was to benefit the United Way. They raised $450 through pledges and plan to tackle the staircase again next year.
