On Tuesday, the UCW Unit H met at Quantrills' to plan a dinner for the Cobourg Presbytery who are holding their annual meeting at Garden Hill Church on May 3rd, and our unit is supplying the dinner for them. Sedgwick conducted the opening services and Final Meeting for Acting Academy The Maple Grove Acting Academy Academy held their final meeting on Wednesday April 6. Our youth leader Mike Metcalf lead the club into the fun activity of making masks. Our faces were covered with vaseline then a partner plastered our faces. Most masks came off, but there were a few exceptions. Our roll, "Pretend this is Hallowe'en if you could be anybody or anything what or who would you be?" was answered with a variety of responses including Frankenstein, Frankenstein, Isabelle Brassure, monster, and Roberto Alomar. We discussed our achievement night. It will be held on Monday May 9 at Maple Grove Hall. We will be doing a play and a makeup demonstration for the ladies of the Women's Institute who sponsor sponsor us. Our families and friends are invited. Our books, masks and other projects will be on display. And that ended the final meeting of the Maple Grove Acting Academy. We must thank our leaders Maryann and Brenda. Brenda.
