Legion Midget Toros Win Spring Classic The Canadian Legion Branch 178 Midget Toros regrouped from a disappointing York/Simcoe championship championship series loss to Oshawa and captured the Spring Classic 'AA* Midget tournament in Barrie on the weekend. The Toros edged Richmond Hill 3-2 in the final when Derek Arnold notched his second goal of the game from Jeff Dart and Nick Hand. Kinsmen Toro Peewees Reach League Finals The Bowmanville Kinsmen Toro Peewees have at long last earned the right to play in the finals of the York- Simcoe hockey league. Since being eliminated in the opening opening round of the OMHA playoffs, the Kinsmen Toro team has successfully marched forward through the York- Simcoe playoffs.
