A representative of Bowmanville High School reported that the school was broken into over the weekend and one camcorder was taken. A Courtice resident complained that a male caller was making obscene comments. A High Street, Bowmanville, resident resident reports the theft of a gold chain and pendant from the home sometime over the last 18 months. Sunday, Nov. 21 A Newcastle man reported a man threatened to shoot him. A Found Crescent, Courtice, resident resident reports that while a car was parked in the driveway overnight, someone scratched it with a sharp object. object. A Curve Inn Road resident was sitting sitting in her living room watching television television when an unknown person broke a window in the kitchen door and unlocked unlocked it. Clarington Concert Band Makes Request for Service Fee Funding While many groups seek grants from the municipality of Clarington, the Clarington Concert Band wants to take a different route. A letter from band representative David Climenhage, of Orono, states: "We do not plan to apply for a municipal municipal grant for the band for 1994. "We would, however, like you to consider engaging the Clarington Concert Band on a fee for service basis for some events and concerts in 1994." Council members decided to refer refer Climenhage's letter to Joe Caru- ana, the Director of Community Ser-' vices.
