All believers have been invited to participate in a March For Jesus, united united by their desire to exalt,Jesus and pray for our Region and Nation. There is no hidden agenda! We praise Him publicly for one simple reason: because because He is worthy. The vision of March For Jesus is to promote a day in the year when followers followers of Christ unite in processions of praise and prayer, proclaiming Jesus Jesus before heaven and earth. This is not a protest march but simply intended intended to celebrate God's goodness and to ask His blessing upon our nation. Participants Participants walk along a planned route, singing and praying as they go. This June 12, Christians throughout throughout the world will be using the same music and prayer script, entitled "King of the Nations." More than 30 Canadian cities plan to participate in this year's march, as well as 250 cities, cities, each in the United States and Britain. Britain. They will be joined by believers in Asia, New Zealand, Australia, Africa, Africa, South America and Mexico. Marches For Jesus emerged as a grassroots movement in England in the mid-1980's. In May, special preparation events for the June 12 March For Jesus Durham Durham include prayer-walking on May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and June 6 beginning at 2 p.m. and meeting at Memorial Park (Oshawa) in front of the band shell. A night of prayer will be held on May 14 and 15 starting on Friday at 10 p.m. and ending at 6 a.m. Saturday Saturday at St. Paul's Church on the Hill, Dunbarton.
