Not only was the performance by the Orono & District Fiddle Club enjoyed, along with all the other talent, but Tom Simpson, of Newcastle Golf Course, also displayed his musical talent talent with the Kimberlcys, of Wilmot Creek. - * Newcastle Tykes 2 Hockey Team enjoyed a tournament in Havelock on " Saturday and won the B championship. We extend congratulations. On Monday evening, the Chamber of Commerce dinner wfts held at St. Francis of Assisi Hall. On Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. John Scott were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Morrow and girls, Millbrook. On Thursday evening the Great Hall of the Newcastle Community Centre was filled to capacity for the dinner and retirement programme in honour of Judge E.R. Lovckin. We extend extend congratulations. F. Bolton Bom and educated in Galston Ayrshire, Ayrshire, Scotland, Margaret Y. F. Bol- ' ton, aged 70, died at her residence in Newcastle, on Saturday, January 23, 1993. She had been ill four months. The daughter of James and Janet Rankin, she was married November 1, 1986, to Earl Edward Bolton.. A Registered Nurse for approximately approximately 47 years, at various positions, the last at C P Transport, Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, she had been retired six years. She was a resident at 207 Wilmot Trail, Newcastle, and had previously resided at the Beaches, Queen St. E., Toronto. A good friend of the C.N.I.B., she was a member of the O.H.N.A. and of the Whcclhousc, Wilmot Creek, Surviving are brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews in Scotland and Australia, stepsons and grandchildren in Ontario. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanvilc, with the Reverend Osborne Osborne officiating. Zackery Hodgson The depth of Zackery Hodgson, aged two months and four days, occurred occurred on Wednesday, January 20, 1993, in Oshawa General Hospital, from crib death. Son of Donna Hodgson and Ken Chopcc, he was bom in Oshawa General General Hospital, and had been a resident of Oshawa. ' Surviving arc his mother and father, father, grandmothers Marilyn Hodgson, and Joyce Chopcc, several aunts and uncles.
