Happenings From Tyrone by Jacqueline Vaneyk As the Statesman has already already printed my name, I may as well go public. Two or three of us were lamenting lamenting the fact that there was no Tyrone news, so I agreed to write some. Due to time restraints, I will not be actively actively seeking news in most cases, nor wifi there be a column column every week. Tyrone church is closed until Sept. 1. so that Rev. Kelly may have holidays. Please visit one of the other churches in the area. Service Service will begin at 11:15 a.m. on Sept. 1. Decoration Day Service for Bethesda Cemetery will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1. Work is being done on the new section to the- south. Some grading has been done, and the new driveway is being built. It is hoped that the new section will be opened in the spring. Judging from the number of cars and the cheering coming from the park, the men's ball tournament on the weekend was a success. Our local tractor pullers were busy on the weekend in Uxbridge and Alliston Wade Penwarden pulls in the Modified class and generally generally comes in a solid fourth or fifth against higher higher powered machines in a very competitive class. John ana Kris. Vaneyk have a Light ProStock puller, which is a stock tractor with increased increased power using a turbocharger turbocharger and more fuel. John came fourth in both weekend weekend pulls. Corp. Affairs General Motors of Canada Canada Limited president and general manager G.A.
