DURHAM ONTARIO SENIOR GAMES -- Ten residents residents from the Durham Region won medals at the Ontario Ontario Senior Games held in London last week. The team of Fred Clarke, Bridgette O'Neill, Mary Wilson Majorie McKay and Betty McRoberts won a gold medal medal in five pin bowling; David Henry struck gold in golf; Russell Easton and William Killen won bronze in carpet carpet bowling; Beatrice Phillips and Michael Norman won a bronze medal in contract bridge. Good health and a great time were enjoyed by all. Selects" Soccer On Wednesday, August 15, the Darlington Mosquito Eagles visited Scarboro Lions Lions and came away with a narrow 5-4 victory. It was a strange game as the Eagles dominated, but the Lions kept the game close. Eagles scored three quick goals, but by the end of the first half , the score was 3-2.
