This tribute to their parents was arranged by their children, children, Arthur, Joan, June and Ruth, and their grandchildren, grandchildren, each of whom had a written letter telling of happy times. Best wishes of all to them both. This happy time was repeated repeated in the evening when about the same number of people gathered at the Oddfellows Oddfellows hall, Port Hope to bring their best wishes to Russell and Reta Baker of Welcome. They were happy to have with them their only daughter, Elaine, husband George Dron and their two daughters from Edmonton, to share in this golden wedding wedding anniversary. During the evening a skit was played by members members of Russell's hunt club to entertain the wedding pair and their, visitors.
