AFTERTHOUGHTS--The Oshawa Generals will be a much improved hockey team, when Erie Lindros arrives arrives in town in Januaiy. The Generals traded away three players, two draft picks, and up to $80,000 to get the 16-year-old. If Lindros is worth that much now, Sportalk can only dream of the money he'll be worth when he turns pro. After watching Lennox Lewis Lewis destroy Greg (Gorilla) Gorrell in last week's televised televised fight, Sportalk can only guess at how bad the 20 boxers were tnat the "Gorilla" nad previously beaten. Atoms Sporting À 6 and 1 Record The team was selected on November 11, 1989, and the coaches would like to thank all the boys who tried out for the team. Darlington Auto Atom Selects have played seven games and have a six and one record. The only loss was on a night when four of the players were away at a house league tournament. The team has a blend of speed and finesse combined with a work hard attitude, Although inconsistent at times, when they all come to play they are a fine team to watch.
