Reeve who celebrated a special birthday on Tuesday, November 21st. Word has been received here that Robert S. Hill, long time purchasing agent at Crane company in Port Hope and Trenton, has returned returned home to Brighton from Kingston hospital. He is recovering from surgery for a long time serious back condition and is doing well. Peter Moore who recently had a surgery in Toronto, has been transferred to Co- bourg hospital and is slowly improving. The very best wishes of all his friends are with him for a speedy recovery. recovery. Church service at Welcome Welcome has been held as usual but this writer's absence makes it difficult to tell about it. However, there was one announcement on November November 19th which all were sorry to hear. Mr. Stephen Sword has resigned as organist organist and choir leader. The choir and congregation have been happy with his time here, and glad to have his family present at church and Sunday school, and other other activities. The coming weeks will be busy, with White Gift service on December December 10th, Sunday school luncheon after . church on December 17th. The congregation congregation is invited to come and his wife Eva and bring the first course and place setting while Sunday school will bring dessert. The choir is preparing a Christmas Cantata for 7:30 on December 16. Peaceful passing came to Walter Longyear in Port Hope on Sunday afternoon, November 26th.
