The 'Controlled Hunt' has been replaced with a regular 'Selective Harvest Hunt'. The hunt will remain as a 4-day shotgun hunt running from the 1st Monday Monday in November through Thursday (Nov. 6-9 for 1989). There are two basic types of deer hunts in Ontario.
