The proposal is being evaluated evaluated under the Environmental Assessment Act, which provides for the protection, conservation and management of the environment in Ontario. Congratulations are extended extended to Viola Thorndyke and posthumously to the late Maijorie Coppins who were each presented with 1989 Volunteer Service Award provided annually by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. These awards were presented by the Hon. John Bakins at a recent Awards night held in the Holiday Inn in Peterborough. Peterborough. OBITUARY s Mrs. Eva Frances Dinniwell A resident at 30 Silver Street, Bowmanville, for over 60 years, Mrs. Eva Frances Dinniwell, aged 90, died at the residence, on Monday, April 24,1989. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Smith, she was born at Burnt River, and educated educated at Burnt River, Jan- etville and Toronto. She was married December 21, 1920, to the late Dr. R. E. Dinniwell. Dinniwell. A former resident of Tor ronto and Wiarton, she was a member of the Bowmari- ville Liberty Pentecostal Church, and of the Beehive Rebekan Lodge #125. Mrs. Dinniwell enjoyed talking to people of all ages and enjoyed listening to religious religious tapes and gospel mu-' sic. 1 , Surviving are her daughters daughters Jean (Mrs. Jack Sturdy) Pat (Mrs. Brad Palmer) Loiâ (Mrs. Lois Spencer), 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville, on Wednesday, with the Reverend Reverend Vern O'Brien officiating. The soloist was Mrs. Brenda Holmes. On Tuesday evening evening a service was held in the Chapel by members of the Beehive Lodge. Pallbearers were members members of the Odd FelloWs Lodge. Donations were made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Memorial Memorial Hospital, and the Gideon Bible Society. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. ; Remember the word.
