Highland Dancers Entertain at Hospital Variety Night Hutton Downs 401 Esso 3-1 401 Esso met Hutton Transport on April 2nd; this was our third game of the round robin playoff series and our first loss. 401 had an excellent game although they suffered a 3-1 defeat. Right from the time the puck was dropped at center ice til the final buzzer sounded Esso played as a team, making great offensive offensive and defensive moves as well as lots of passing around the opposing net. Esso's hard work paid off at 10:53 or the first when Kevin Grootendorst scored on a pass from David Chambers. Chambers. We pushed forward, trying to increase the lead but Hutton put in the tying marker at 4:05 of the first. Esso lit the burners in the second, really applying the heat, but we were not successful in turning any of our numerous shots into counters. About four minutes into the third, Hutton tallied and once again with less than two minutes left in the game. With the never say "die" attitude 401 hung right in there 'til the bitter end, still hoping to tie it up at least. Considering his size, Steve Sargent stood tall in the nets for Esso today. Excellent Excellent team play Esso, let's see more of it!. t IBB ^ l&*UnyUuf you Qi^ti and (jlseetinyi... He Hut Fmwu liskit in Um W*M Hit SINCE 1930 It's time to call your Welcome Wagon hostess.
