But the best thing of all for this week was the trip to Cullen Gardens. The children children took the bus to Whitby and then saw tiny houses, waterfalls and a manger scene. The children loved having hot chocolate, candy canes and visiting Santa at Cullen Gardens. Carrie Jackson Mrs. Michaelis' class has been doing some Christmas activities and here is what they've been doing. They did geometric Santa's because because they've been studying geometry. Her class has also made Santa Claus brooches with the help of Mrs. Erb. Of course they have also made decorations to put on their Christmas tree. They are going to make pine cone reindeer and three dimensional Christmas Christmas trees. Her class had to do a project called Christmas Christmas in other lands. They worked with Mrs. Strong Mrs. Michaelis and their parents to make posters, booklets, or dioramas, One student made a pinata full of candy and they are going to break it soon. Some even brought in foods like Ukrainian Ukrainian bread, and Dutch cookies. Boy, it sure seems like fun.
