Nathan Duclos tripled to score two runs in. Charlie's V-Plus are defending defending champs but newcomers and off-season trades should make for some exciting league action. Tyrone 60 Plus Club News On Wedriesday, May 13, at the Tyrone Orange Hall, 40 people sat down to a 60 plus club pot luck dinner. We had a good variety of hot dishes, which were quickly consumed by hearty appetites, and were topped off with cakes, whipped cream and tea. After lunch we had nine tables of euchre, which everyone everyone enjoyed. The results were: Ladies' High - June Wilson 94; Men's High - Carl Gimblett 84; Ladies' Low - Helen McArthur 48; Men's Low - Grace Smith 40. Special draws Doreen Ferguson and Meta Swain. This dinner finishes up for this season. Starting again September9th, 1987. Come out and join us for good food and fellowship. Have a good summer. Hampton Students Raise Over 9 1900 Skipping Rope Some schools will do just about anything to help a good cause. This crowd of 114 Hampton JuniorPub- 1 ic School students participated in their first ever Jump Rope for Heart skip-a-thon. The participants raised $2919.90 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation, which will be used for further research.
