A Politician's Garden Our province is in the midst of an election and politicians are running to and fro', throughout the area. Found this article recently and thought it might be timely - "Before any politician can be elected, he or she must grow a garden. They must grow potatoes, so that they know that some things grow underground! They must grow an apple tree, to show that some things grow in the air. They must grow tuberous begonias, so that they realize that some things need a protected protected habitat. And they must grow one Peace Rose. This will teach them that the road, to Peace may be thorny, but peace has a beauty and fragrance that cannot be equalled, Only then could they be elected and permitted to sport a flower in their lapels."
