These will cost $1.00 each and can be redeemed at local banks until July 31, 1984. Details have not been finalized at this time, but the Committee will be making further announcements with respect to this project. There are now grants available from the Secretary of Stale of Canada. These are on a first come, first served basis but must be received by March 31,1984. Wintario grants are still available for events occurring between August and December 1984 but applications must be submitted by April 30, 1984. Further information is available through the Town of Newcastle Administrator's Office at 623-3379. In addition, the Bicentennial Committee Is considering printing a calendar of events In the local newspapers. We need your input.
