A good crowd attended church and Sunday school services at Shiloh United on Sunday. It was announced that next communion service will be held on April 1st. Next official board meeting will be at Shiloh United on Wednesday, Wednesday, May 9th and the annual manse auction sale will be on Saturday, May 12th. Shiloh U.C.W. Meeting On Wednesday, February 15th, 22 ladies and two children children met at the home of Mrs. Ruth Robinson at the noon hour for a pot luck dinner. Following this delicious meal, the U.C.W. meeting was held with the Vice-President Ruth Robinson chairing the meeting meeting in the absence of the President Janet Lynn who was ill in bed with pneumonia. Everyone signed a card to be sent to Janet to speed her recovery. Everyone joined in singing the hymn "Love Divine, all Love Excelling" after which Ellen Farrow led the devotional devotional "The Golden Clasp" assisted assisted by Mary-Lou Fonk. Reports were given by Gloria Todd and Margaret Todd. "Happy Birthday" was sung to Clara Souch for her February birthday. At our U.C.W. anniversary services to be held on May 6th, the speaker will be Mrs. Alice Sheffield of Oshawa. Ruth Robinson reported that Mary Traicus has crocheted a gorgeous rose toned afghan and two pillows for our bazaar on May 5th.
