Mr. and Mrs. Len Stainton visited bn Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hope, Black- stocky Several from the area attended attended the Werry Family Reunion on Saturday at Blackstock. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rekker and family, Newcastle were Sunday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Avery and Jim. Jim returned with them for a few days holidays. Miss Michelle Leadbeater, Oshawa spent Saturday with ", Mr. and Mrs. Art Leadbeater. Miss Myrtle Tamblyn, Toronto spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Bowman. Mrs. Pauline Werry Greer and friend, Montreal, and Mr. Ernie Greer of Fort Erie were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Allan Werry and attended attended the Werry picnic. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Lamb spent the weekend at the Pollard's cottage, Irish Lake. DrundMrs. Clarke Werry and Peter and Little Kristen Werry, Nobleton, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Werry attended the Werry Family Picnic at Blackstock and were Saturday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hanewich, Oshawa. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Howe visited Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilson, Port Perrv. Our U.C.W. Ladies have received received letters from Rev. Ralph Hills, Zambia. He gratefully acknowledged the money and eye glasses that were sent to him. Werry and Mr. Bert Werry were Sunday evening supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Hanewich, Oshawa. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Wright and Betty were Sunday evening evening callers of Mrs. W. E. Sanderson, Columbus. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dittbur- ner and family, Stittsvilie, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Trewin were Sat. evening visitors of Mrs. Jean Trewin, Black- stock. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Piggott visited Mr. and Mrs. Clark Piggott, Oshawa on Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Dittbur- ner and family, Stittsvilie and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Trewin were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Slemon and family. On Sunday the joint service was held at Enniskillen. Pastor Joe chose as his Psalm Selection No. 82. The Scriptures Scriptures were Jer. 17:1-18, Eph. 3:16 -18, Matt. 7: 15 - 20. Mr. Lafave's message was entitled entitled "Sinking Your Roots." Rot Ashton was our organist. NESTLETON CAESAREA On Saturday afternoon Grahame and Neta Fish, Nestleton, called at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay to see Grahame's sister-in-law Mrs. Alma Pentwell of Kirkfield, who has been ill for some time. Our best wishes for better health soon from the area. Our deepest sympathy to Jean Bailey and Donna Donna Mackey of Oshawa . who lost their very wonderful mother Alpha Samells a week ago. She has been a fine resident within the Port Perry area and will be greatly missed by so many relatives and friends.
