Nestleton - Caesarea News by Mabel Cawker Families in the News Edgar and Anne Emerson have moved into into the old family home at Nestleton, and are very busy getting settled. They brought their furniture furniture from the Toronto residence and are having "fun" placing it -- in just the right spot in their spacious rural home. We are so glad to have Ed and Anne as neighbours the year round. It gives one a warm feeling to have the house lit up once again. A great welcome to the Emersons Emersons from friends and neighbours. Nestleton folks will be pleased to know that Mildred and Bill Fortune, Fortune, Blackstock, were in Leamington just recently recently visiting her mother Lucy and George Donnerai Donnerai and report this is the best year her mother has had yet. The Donnerais Donnerais are liking their new home very much and George is enjoying picking fruit for an hour or so each day. They are former residents of Nestleton. Several from Cartwright Cartwright attended the successful successful Scugog Women's Institute annual Auction sale on Saturday, and found many items of interest interest to purchase. The proceeds are to be given to the Port Perry Hospital building fund. We do "applaud" The Scugog Is. W.I. for their benevolence and generosity. Guests with Grahame and Neta Fish from Monday Monday to Thursday were Mrs. Audrey Leishman, William and Jamie from Reaboro. During the week they enjoyed a trip to Cullen Gardens, and had supper there. Others joining them were Calvin and Yvonne Holland and Chad from Bowmanville. A fine family party! Sam and Maoie Cawker, Scugog Point Road, were delighted to have at the farm this past week as guests - Robert and Madeline Cawker, Scugog Island, and a friend of long standing standing Mn. Bea Manson of Toronto, Grahame and Neta Fish, Nestleton, and Robt. France of Scugog Point. Euchre Party Results for Wednesday evening euchre were as follows: First prize- a tie- Doris Rohrer and Chelle Gibbs - each had 90. Low- Henry Visser - 53. A very good turn out.
