In a recent Peterboroûgh competition for athletes from the separate school system, he earned a gold metal for achieving the most points of all the junior boys. Greg scored four firsts in that event. In a subsequent competition among schools in the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Newcastle school system, Greg also earned a gold medal. Then, in an invitational meet for elementary schools, Greg earned a silver medal. The St. Joseph's athlete competes in the 50 metre and 100 metre races as well as the long jump and relay.
