Dalrymple, graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree at the June Convocation Convocation of Osgoode Hall Law School. Joe is a former graduate of Queen's University. University. He will be articling with the firm of Murphy, O'Brien, Vella and Gillen, in Oshawa. Blackstock News The United Church Sunday School and Congregational Congregational Picnic was held in beautiful weather on Sunday afternoon at the Cartwright Cartwright Park, Caesarea. Many interesting games and activities were carried out by Superintendent Superintendent Linda Bradburn and her excellent staff. The pot luck supper was as bountiful and delicious delicious as usual. Decoration Service at the Union Cemetery drew a large crowd with such beautiful weather. The crowd gathered for a service conducted by Rev. Fred Swan assisted assisted by Rev. Dale Davis. The grounds which were in fine condition under the expert care of Ted Kemp and Ken Crawford Crawford were well decorated decorated with many beautiful flowers bought for the occasion. The Wind up Meeting of the Youth Group took the form of a hay ride at the farm home of Glenn and Arlene Malcolm, Nestleton. This successful successful group which has met regularly since October will cease meetings until fall. A fine fellowship fellowship was enjoyed by the young people. Obituary Mrs. Olive Mary McKee, McKee, a life long resident of Cartwright Township passed away peacefully on April 25, 1983 at the Community Memorial Hospital, Port Perry. She was in her 85th year. Born on October 12, 1898, she was the eldest daughter of the late James Thompson and Annie Patterson and received her education at Devitt's School. On April 16, 1930, she married Marwood McKee. McKee. Together she and Marwood successfully farmed until they retired retired and moved into their new home in Blackstock in 1966. A faithful member of Cadmus Methodist Church and later Black- stock United Church she took an active interest in all community activities activities where she did her part as long as she was able. Olive will be greatly greatly missed by her many friends. Left to mourn her passing are her husband, Marwood, Fern and Bruce Lawson of Nestleton, her dear sister and nephew A memorial service was conducted by Mc- Dermott-Panabakcr Funeral Chapel, Port Perry, by her minister Rev.
