Glenn and Marion Larmer attended Convocation Convocation Ceremonies at the University of Guelph on Friday when Douglas was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Degree. Jennie and Rhys Kendall, Kendall, Lisa and Keith Reid participated in the Brooklin Spring Fair Pony Show and won some prizes. Several others from here also exhibited in their fields winning many prizes. Many others attended the first fair of the season season in this area and enjoyed the many attractions. The local Lions Club will be very busy this week. They will be installing playground equipment at Cartwright Cartwright Central Public School yard and also busy working at rhe new Ball Diamond at the Fairgrounds. Senior Students assisted by Bethany Schryburt as Producer-Director and Caroline Carnaghan as Assistant Director produced produced a comedy with mystery entitled "Pleased Ta Meetcha". Most of the students were involved in some task or other. Many guests came from Holland and other distant distant points including the groom's father Pete Keuning from Florida. They will be living in their home in Raglan. A successful sheep show was held at the Fairgrounds on Sunday with demonstrations, displays and concessions concessions keeping the visitors involved. Better health is wished wished for Kathy Strong who recently underwent surgery in Port Perry Hospital. May and Hector Shortridge enjoyed a visit with Charlie and Erma Primer at Hamilton Hamilton on Sunday. Bill and Sheila and Stephanie Shortridge went on to St. Catherines where they visited Jack and Jill . Price, Lisa and Darcy. Bob and Nancy Bryans attended the 35th wedding anniversary anniversary party of Bob's cousin cousin Raymond and Jean Bryans of Croton.
