There are four crews in the area and they run from June 7 to Aug. 13. The 1st Vice-President is to be the alternate attending the area convention in the fall in Toronto. The Fun Fair is to be held this year at Maple Grove on Oct. 18. Mrs. Beta Fraser entertained us at this time with her version of "Charlie Farquahson". This was much enjoyed by all. Mrs. H. Bradley, Provincial Board Director, addressed us. She said there were 28 scholarships scholarships each one with a value of $125 given this year, and if any information is required contact Home Economist Miss Lynda Caldwell. Miss Lynda Caldwell was presented with a monetary gift in appreciation of her work with us for the past six years as she has been transferred transferred to Elmvale and also congratulated on her forthcoming forthcoming marriage. The report of the Federation of Agriculture was given by Mrs. G. Brown. She said women are being studied. The needs of the farmer are being looked into by committees. They want us to use more Ontario grown vegetables. A farm operator's wife-is one of the most single resources that he has. This was a real good report.
