Following the Service forty guests were present present for the occasion - including grandparents, Bob and Ruth Davidge, great grandmother Ewa Davidge and great aunt Bernice Davidge, of Williams Point, and Jim and Bob Davidge (uncles) of Willowdale. Anniversary Celebrations Roy and Doris Nottingham Nottingham of Caesarea, attended the 66th wedding anniversary of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Bray, Fair- view Lodge (former residents of Raglan). The anniversary party was held in the auditorium, auditorium, and the dinner was brought in. Sixteen family members were present for this wonderful wonderful event- a real milestone milestone in the lives of Mr. and Mrs. Bray. "Our best" to this fine couple. Lewis and June Kent of Sundridge and Norm and Bernice Mairs, Nestleton, attended the 40th anniversary of Ed and Lil Kent in Thornhill Thornhill on Saturday evening. The festivities were held at the home of their son Mr. Cord Kent with about 60 present for the occasion. Sunday afternoon guests with Norm and Bernice were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Butt, Raglan. After dinner Mr. and Mrs. Ken Whittington of Oshawa and their daughter Mary Anne from Saskatchewan called on the Mairs. Fred and Mabel Dayes celebrated their 48 wedding anniversary on April 20th. They arranged a family dinner at the Watermill Restaurant in honour of the occasion. Those present present to help celebrate were: Jim and Carol Dayes, Christine, Steward and Stephanie of Brooklin, Charlie and Lorraine Andrews, Colleen and Tracy, Brooklin, Denise Dayes and friend Neil Chambers, Cheryl Dayes and friend Paul Brignall, Port Perry, Mrs. Margaret Dayes, Beverly, Barry, Sandy, Brian and Allison, Oshawa, Mr. and Mrs. Zack Adams, Bowmanville Bowmanville and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Adams, Oshawa were supper guests. Birthday Party Forty family members came out from Toronto to help celebrate Mr. James Evanoff's 87th birthday of Toronto. A party was held at daughter Dorothy and Barney McCabe's - an afternoon open house - all stayed for dinner as well. A fine family geLto-gether. The McCabes are very pleased about their younger daughter Janice who became engaged to Martin O'Brien of Toronto. The happy couple are planning planning a quiet wedding in the fall. Congratulations! Congratulations! and best wishes! to this young couple. Family News Visiting at the Cawker farmstead Sunday were: Grant and Merna Cawker, Curtis, Cathy, Chris, and friends, Cheryl Finkle, Chris Gooding, Sandra Gordon, Pat Buchanan and Gisile Lauzon all of Oshawa. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Brigman were afternoon callers. Friends are sorry to learn of the sudden death of Jack Pearce, Oshawa, who had a summer home at Caesarea. Sympathy is extended to his wife Ruth and family.
