Canker Caesarea Community Church A splendid attendance at the Caesarea Church on Sunday morning August 29th. Rev. W.H. Crawford played the musical introduction introduction before the worship - on the Hammond organ. Mrs. Bonnie Ballingal was organist. "Highlight" for the service was the delightful music featuring the "Four Tunettes" - quartette from Scugog Island composed of Florence Fralick, Bonnie Bell, Bonnie Ballingal and Joan Aldred. The girls sang without accompaniment - "The Lord's Prayer", - "I Believe" and finally "Let There Be Peace." Also the beautiful rendition of "How Lovely Are They Dwellings" by soloist Mrs. G. Cameron of Oshawa accompanied by Bonnie Bell. Rev. W.H. Crawford's fine sermon theme - "The Gateway Gateway to Heaven" taken from Scripture II Peter I: I-II was much enjoyed. Nestleton United Church On Sunday morning, August 29th, an average attendance for the service. Rev. Dale Davis chose Prayer as his theme. The children's story, compared learning to pray - with learning learning to skate-both requiring much practise to achieve success. Sermon title "I Pray the Lord" emphasizing the faith and persistence required in Prayer and the importance of waiting patiently for an answer. Scripture taken from Isaiah and Luke. A ladies trio sang sweetly "Teach Me To Pray" in keeping with the sermon tropic. Two bouquets of garden flowers graced the Altar.
