Mr. Campbell was born in Perth Road, Ontario, the son of the late Wilmer and Margaret Campbell. He attended Sydenham High School. Besides his wife Olive, he is survived by four children: children: Lucille (Mrs. Truman Young, Cobourg), Joyce (Mrs. James Stephenson, Newcastle), Newcastle), John, Campbellford and Peter, Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Saskatchewan. Also survived by one sister, Mrs. Irene Bennett, Kingston, eight grandchildren, grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother, Boyce. Mr. Campbell served in the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941 to 1945, and was employed at R. M, Hollingshead in Bowmanville for 17 years. His final place of employment was as a security guard at Durham College. Funeral services were held August 26th at Morris Funeral Home with interment at Bond Head Cemetery in Newcastle. The son of Tom and Gladys Masterson, he was born in Oakwood, and educated at Bowmanville High School, and Western University. On August 27th, 1966, he was married to Leslie Claire Cunningham. A resident of Mexico City since January 1981, where he was employed as General Manager of Motorola Ltd., Mexico, he had previously resided in Bowmanville from 1944 -1967, and in Toronto until he went to Mexico in January 1981. He was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Left to mourn his passing are his wife Leslie, children, Jim, 12; Kelly, 6; and Michael, 2; his parents, brothers AI, of Oshawa, Don, Blackstock, sister Linda (Mrs. Al Osborne), and brothers, Gerry and Randy, Bowmanville. POLLY TKATCH 111 for approximately three months, Polly Tkatch passed away in Memorial Hospital, Bowmanvile on Monday, August 23, 1982 in her 80th year. ■- , ; u--, Born and educated in Saskatchewan, Saskatchewan, she was the daughter of Nick and Francis Katerynch, and was married to Nickolas Tkatch on November November 16th, 1919. A resident at 155 Church Street, Bowmanville, since 1941, she had previously resided at Newcastle (Brown's Section). She was a devoted wife and mother whose interests centred around her home, family and church. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church. Surviving are her husband Nickolas, daughters Jane (Mrs. R.J. Niddery), Tolly (Mrs. B.S. Reid), seven grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. She was predeceased predeceased by a daughter Annie Tkatch Wilkins. Funeral services were held at the Morris Funeral Chapel on Wednesday with the Reverend Reverend N.E. Schamerhorn officiating. officiating. The organist was Mrs. J. Albert Cole. Interment Bond Head Cemetery. The project. includes the supply of two natural gas burners at the senior public school. K.W.S. Energy Services Services of Whitby, was the successful successful bidder. The contractor submitted the lowest of four bids. At a meeting last June, the board agreed to proceed with the conversion from oil to gas, in accordance with the Ministry Ministry of Education's approval of the project in the amount of $14,000.
