Brown surrendered just one goal in both the first and third periods while the Buzz scored five times in each of the first two periods. Adam Wolf scored twice in the opening period as Oakville took an early 5-1 lead. Oakville extended its lead to 10-4 in the second period before a pair of goals 37 seconds apart late in the period gave Akwesasne some hope. The Indians made it 10-7 just over a minute into the third, but Brown shut the door and Austin Redding sealed the win with his second goal of the game. Ryan Smith, Matt Anderson, Redding and Wolf each had two goals, Patrick DeHueck had a goal and three assists and Tyler O'Brien and Matt Pogue also scored for Oakville. Nate Braniff had four assists and Eddie Renaud had three. Akwesasne scored twice in 30 seconds in the third period to edge Oakville 6-5 in last Saturday's series opener. Renaud scored three goals and an added an assist. Smith and Redding had the other Buzz goals. The Buzz hosts the remaining games of the series tomorrow (Friday) at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday, if necessary, at 2 p.m., all at Joshua's Creek Arenas. Oakville's Scott Wilson of the Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins will have his day with the Cup today (Thursday) and he'll be sharing the experience with the town. The Minor Oaks Hockey Association graduate will be bringing the Cup to Sixteen Mile Sports Complex from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and the River Oaks Recreation Centre from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The public is invited to stop by for an autograph and a picture with the Stanley Cup. Wilson was a seventh-round pick of the Penguins in the 2011 draft and played 24 games for Pittsburgh in 2015-16 before surgery to an injured ankle ended his season. Wilson, who was leading the American Hockey League in goals at the time of his recall in December, scored five times for Pittsburgh, including his first NHL goal, and added an assist. Wilson played all of his minor hockey in the MOHA system before joining the Georgetown Raiders of the Ontario Junior Hockey League, where he produced 44 goals and 128 points in 104 games. He went on to play three years at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell. Wilson topped the Rivermen in scoring in his sophomore season while leading UMass-Lowell to the National Collegiate Athletic Association Frozen Four.
