The Halton branch of the Canadian Cancer Society is currently seeking volunteers to ï¬ll a number of roles, including serving on the planning committee of two upcoming Milton events. In February, the organization is planning to host Family Snow Day. eh! â€" a new event featuring a variety of activities for the whole family, including snacks, treats and hot bever- ages. The Society is looking for volunteers to serve on the February 21 event’s planning commit- tee to help execute the Family Snow Day, to be held at Country Heritage Park. Van'ous opportunities include driving, sewing on planning committees Additional Ware Mam sftpn the planning committee Of the Milton Relay for Life, the organization's signature fundraiser scheduled for June 27. Energetic, dynamic and passionate individuals who have a few hours to dedicate each month are encour- aged to join the event's leadership group. Volunteer drivers are also needed to assist those undergoing cancer treatments get to and from appointments. Drivers, according to the non-proï¬t organiza- tion, are well-trained and supported in their role. and are important ambassadors for the Canadian Cancer Society.
