Raymond Michael Venerus, 55, was murdered outside his home on Dublin Line in Milton on Feb. 21, 2007. Police said around 9:50 a.m. on that day, Venerus got into his Jeep Cherokee and drove to the end of his driveway where unknown suspect(s) approached him. "He was not a man to back down from a con- frontation and he stopped his Jeep and got out," said Det. Const. Paul Proteau, Halton Crime Stoppers Co-ordinator.
