New Credit News Council Meets The Mississaugas of the New Credit Council met on May 13, 1968. Present were: Chief Fred King; Councillors, Sylvester LaForme, Ward LaForme, William LaForme and Clayton Tobicoe. Present from the Indian Affairs Branch were: J.L. Mccaw, W. H. Horne and W. Sears. Moved, seconded and carried that permission be given to Mr. W. Richard Cowan, chief geologist, to carry out a geological survey of the reserve.
