A similar study is being undertaken in Lanark County. FISCHER’S Ornamental Ironworks (Soperton) - The aim is to determine the number of families needing assistance with elderly or disabled members. One purpose is to see whether an adult day center is needed in the area; another is to ascertain whether families need someone in the home to relieve them with the patient's care occasionally while they go away or rest. Gates Railing Security Screens All health agencies (such as Home Care, Health Unit, Placement Coordination, commercial providers, Red Cross, VON) have been surveyed. However there may be families in the area who would require this assistance if it were available and who will not be listed for the study. Fireplace Accessories o Lamps ~ Garden Furniture We would therefore appreciate your informing your readers that the study is underway during the month of October. If anyone not affiliated with the agencies listed believes they would use a day center or in home respite service, they should contact me. (A day center would have a user fee of $10â€"$15 a day). etc. All custom made. Free Estimates G. Fischer 928-2783 The information sent to health providers is enclosed. I regret that none of the agencies involved in the study has funds for paid advertising; it is, in fact, our hope that you may consider this a public service.
