Ron Smeaton and his wife Delores returned to our midst. After, there was an opportunity to greet old and new friends as lunch was served in the C.E. room. Our UCW was responsible for registration at the sectional fall rally held in Lyndhurst. The speaker, Mary Nichols, a retired nurse and missionary who worked in Nepal, showed pictures and told us of how people live in that very different culture from ours. Rev. Carolyne Turner requested used books for the penal institutions and donations are to be left at Dorothy's. For our program, our minister, Rev. Daryl Bell, shared with us many reminiscenses of his journey of faith into the ministry - as well as humourous 12 NORTH LEEDS LANTERN MEMBER 1990 SEELEY'S BAY SENIORS Seeley's Bay Seniors met for the September business meeting on Friday, September 14th.
