Starting last November, on every third Monday of the month, the Elgin Lioness Club makes a birthday cake and goes to the lounge at the apartment building to celebrate birthdays in that month with the seniors. We have a wonderful time visiting and enjoying the company of the great peOple in our community. See you next month! On January 21, 1990, the Lioness Club sponsored a Ham and Bean Supper at the Lions Hall in Elgin. We had a good turnout despite the weather and enjoyed the day.
