Drives to medical or medically related appointments for persons aged 55 and up will now range from $ 3.00 to $ 15.00 roundtrip, depending upon the destination and distance. This fee, paid by the senior is used to recompense the volunteer drivers for their gas consumption.etc. Volunteer drivers, who are assigned by the VON Seniors Support co-ordinator. will drive the senior from his or her residence to the site of the appointment and its conclusion, return to the senior's home.
