Topic was South Africa with helps from the "Mandate" portraying different interpretations of the Bible by a people living under circumstances such as suppression and apartheid or racial segregation. Following reading of the minutes, receiving of the offering, the treasurer's report was heard. Although the annual cost of supporting the Foster Children has increased, it was the unanimous decision to continue our support. Orvin Martin, the President, asked all to join in singing "O Canada". Then we sang Happy Birthday to Orvin, Valera and Margaret Grigsby. The SATURDAY, JULY 15, 1989 starting at 4 pan. Plans for the annual August 2nd Bazaar were dealt with. All are disturbed to learn that a loyal member, Mollie Callaghan, will be leaving the community very soon. She will be greatly missed in many capacities. Following adjournment, a delicious lunch was served by the committee. Secretary, Margaret Keith, read the minutes of the May meeting, which were approved. A report was given on the Zone Rally, which was attended by six members. Valera, the Treasurer, gave her report, which was approved.
