Halton police were called to a residence near Dundas Street and Trafalgar Road around 6 p.m. After going inside, of cers discovered the marijuana plants as well as what police are calling a "Shatter Lab," which is used to produce cannabis resin. Police estimate the street value of the marijuana to be approximately $500,000. In the wake of the discovery, of cers began a search for a suspect, who they did not name to protect the identity of the alleged domestic disturbance victim. Investigation resulted in the arrest of one man, who faces charges of production of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of traf cking.
