O Library program highlights Writing and Publishing in the Digital Age Navy St., with Cynthia Good, director of Student and Industry Initiatives at Humber College's Creative Book Publishing Program. Good has been a leader in the publishing industry for many years. She was appointed the first editorial director of Penguin Books Canada and went on to become president and publisher. Over her 20 years with Penguin, she established a publishing program that grew into one of the most successful in Canada. After Penguin, she joined Humber College where she developed the Creative Book Publishing Program and went on to become the director of Student and Industry Initiatives. Good has won several awards and acts as an adjunct professor at several Canadian universities. At the May 19 workshop, she will offer insight on how authors and publishers are facing digital age-induced challenges, and how readers are responding in the age of abundance. She will highlight how the marketing landscape has changed and how writers can adapt to be more successful.
