Miss Shawnet MacMillan, a former director of Women's Bureau Service for the Alberta Government for a period of 18 years, died Friday at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby.
Born in Scotland, she was a granddaughter of the late Donald Cameron Clunes, Inverness. She had resided in Ontario for the last 8 years. Her only survivor is a sister, Morag Reid, of Grimsby.
Remains rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home until Sunday afternoon when funeral services were conducted in St. Andrew's church by Rev. E.A. Brooks, and then transferred to Toronto for cremation.
Casket bearers were Allan, John and Robin Reid and Gerald Liddle.
