The death occurred on Tuesday morning in West Lincoln Memorial Hospital of Finlay Erskine Forbes in his 53rd year.

Deceased had been ill for only a few days. He was born in Kitchener, and had resided there practically all his life, coming to Grimsby two years ago to take up residence on the lake front west of Baker's Road. He was for many years a traveller for the Goodrich Rubber Co. and during the First World War served overseas as a gunner with the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery.

He is survived by an aunt and one cousin.

Funeral services were held this (Thursday) morning at 10 o'clock from the Stonehouse Funeral Home. Interment will be made this afternoon in Bellsyde cemetery, Fergus.
