The team defence, consisting of Jamie Kulla, Chris Hill. Matt Grigg, Mathew Bertrand and Harry Hristopoulos, was bolstered by the return of Ted Starr to the backline. Combined with the solid backstopping of Kris McCoubrey and Dan Dalby, and the forward's commit ment to back checking, the team's record has improved to 6 wins, 5 losses and two ties. Here's their recent action ... Ted Starr scored on a one-timer from the slot and added two assists in one of his last games playing at the forward position, as the Rangers beat Flamborough 5-3. Jacob Truant scored twice and added an assist. Aaron Mirsky and Mark White scored the other goals while further assists went to Tyson Theaker (2), Jamie Kulla (2), and Patrick Christie. Against Caledon, Kris McCoubrey's point blank save on a slapshot kept Oakville in the game until the Rangers offence, sparked by Anthony Albrecht-s^two goals, kicked into gear. Tyson Theaker, with a bul let slapshot, and Brett Chandler notched the other markers in Oakville's 4-1 victory. Assists went to Mark White, Jacob Truant, Mathew Bertrand and Aaron Mirsky. An eye popping blocked shot by Mathew Bertrand was the highlight of Oakville's 6-3 victory against Brampton. Although somewhat injured on the play, Mathew was able to reach deep within him self and come out in the third period to inspire his team mates. Two goals from Patrick Christie, including finishing off a pretty three way passing play, and two goals by Aaron Mirsky led the Oakville offence. Other goals went to Spencer Metcalfe and Mark White, while Harry Hristopoulos, Jacob Truant, Tyson Theaker and Anthony Albrecht each assisted twice. Single helpers went to Brett Chandler, Joey Cicchini and Mark White. Anthony Albrecht's trademark wrap around goal, and Mark White's bullet under the crossbar were the highlights in Oakville's solid 5-1 victory over Guelph. Other markers went to Aaron Mirsky, Spencer Metcalfe and Jacob Truant, while assists were recorded by Truant, Metcalfe, Albrecht, Tyson Theaker, Patrick Christie and Harry Hristopoulos. A late third period collapse against Flamborough was costly as the Rangers squandered a 3-1 lead and lost 4-3. Jacob Truant scored twice in the match and Mark White added the other goal. Harry Hristopoulos had two assists while Anthony Albrecht and Patrick Christie each had a single helper. `Applies to 600-MHz a nd 700-MHz iMac m odels only. ' ' Fulfillment by mail. The fields had to be closed down for a number of weeks causing many games to be rescheduled and some, can celled." The club is the biggest in Canada with well more than 9000 players on 625 teams, including micro, mini, house league, all star and rep teams.
