Place your yard waste at the curb by 7 a.m. the morning of your collection day, but no sooner than 5 p.m. the evening before. · Tie and bundle brush no larger than 2 m x 1 m (6 ft x 3 ft) wide, with branches a maximum of 7.5 cm in diameter · No cardboard boxes, plastic bags, compostable or biodegradable bags · Use paper yard waste bags or reusable, rigid container with a yard waste label · To order a yard waste label at no charge, visit halton.ca/waste or dial 311 · Yard waste can also be dropped off at the Halton Waste Management Site (5400 Regional Road 25, Milton, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). User fees apply; visit halton.ca/HWMS If you use a private contractor to manage your yard waste or bulk brush, it is your responsibility to inform the contractor of the time and specifications for placing yard waste and bulk brush at the curb for collection. The mandate of this committee is to: · Review the methodology and assumptions used in formulating Halton's development charges policy; · Provide critical analysis and policy advice regarding Halton's development charges policy; and · Provide input on recommendations regarding any proposed development charges by-laws. The appointment term will expire when the Development Charges Background Study is released to the public which is anticipated to be in December 2016. Regional Council wishes to ensure that its boards and committees reflect the diverse nature of its community and invites all residents of Halton to consider this opportunity. An Interview Committee of Regional Council will recommend qualified candidates for these positions to Regional Council.
