The Easter food drive kicks off today (Friday) and runs through to Sunday, Fare Share needs help with Easter food drive April 3. Fare Share's next food drive won't be until Thanksgiving, so more donations are particularly needed and essential during this season for the food bank to ensure its shelves stay stocked for those in need, according to Ron Ziegel, food drive and volunteer co-ordinator. Donations can be made at Fare Share bins found at all local grocery stores and Oakville Fire stations, as well as directly at the 1240 Speers Rd. food bank.
