Its latest edition of Theatresports, which starts at 8 p.m., will showcase teen talent and regular improvisers "battling it out" for comic supremacy on the spot, according to Oakville Improv. There will be a birthday cake and Oakville Mayor Rob Burton is expected to act as guest judge for the evening. Performers for the evening will include: Alastair Forbes (Second City, Sunnyside); Carmine Lucarelli (Social Capital); Dave Healey (Second City, Flashman); Herbie Barnes (National Arts Centre Repertoire Company) and Oakville Improv's own Gary Pearson (Sunnyside, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Corner Gas). Among the local performers will be: Kim Beaune, James Jeffers, Shann McGrail, Christine Pillman, Terri Skov, David Raitt and Lea Wilkening. The evening, which takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, 2302 Bridge Rd., will be scored by Waylen Miki. The cost to attend is $5.
