Coaches Allan Howard and Mary-Ann Palmer would like to compliment the entire team on the good sportsmanship and team spirit each girl displayed during the year. This is the first year Rich- mond Hill has had a novice girls' team and prospects for next year look even better Beth Shadoff and Susan O'Connell each had four hits for Richmond Hill. Darlene Har- rison was the winning pitcher and Beth Shadoff stole home with the winning run. Scarboro 19, R. Hill 14 Their spirits raised. Richmond Hill went into the final game against a superior Scarboro team. They played well and put up a good fight before finally bowing 19-14. Vicki Robinson. Julie Wells and Brenda Lee each had four hits and Darlene Harrison. pitching her third game of the day. was the loser. Cobourx 17. R. Hill 18 The first game saw the Rich- mond Hill girls dropped to the “B†Division as they came out on the short end of a 17-16 score against Cobourg. The score seesawed all the way through the game with Cobourg scoring five runs in the last inning to win it. Denise Bar- clay had five hits and Julie Wells four in a losing cause. R. Hill 19. Ajax 18- Richmond Hill was three cuts from heading home as they trailed Ajax 18-10 in the last inning of their second game.
