Oak Ridges teacher who wreck- ed his car against a tree shortly after midnight May 25 near Brown's Corner in Markham Town. He is Herbert Fincham. 29, of RR 4, Stouffville, who \i as taken, to North York General Hospital eight days earlier. His brother said the family was never told Herbert had a fractured skull, and he’s mys- tified about the hospital treat- ment. He said he plans to ask for a full inVestigation because he just hasn't been able to get answers. John said it appeared Herbert Was recovering, but he suddenly worsened and was transferred to intensne care. A day later he died. "We were so happy Herbert survived the crash." said John. “You nouldn't have believed it if you'd seen the truck. “He was laughing and joking1 with us in his hospital room. and then he died.
