STRANGE durumâ€"Last Tuesday Mr. Mc- Laughlin, Coroner, held an inquest on the lmdy of a young married woman named La Bar. a resident of Mariposa. She had been unwell for some little time with fever, but was thought to be recovering, however, on Monday, upon being placed in bed, from which she had been absent awhile, she suddenly, to all appearance, died. Not being able to airive at the cause of the mysterious demise, Mr. McLaughlin order- ed a postmortem examination, and the medical men, on examining the body, to their great stir» prise found itstill warm and exhibiting no syrup- toms of any change having taken place. Of course they couldg'not proceed with their dis- agreeable duty, not feeling confident that the woman was dead , nor tip to a late hour yes- torday, hid the supposed corpse lost its above recorded signs of vitalityâ€"Lindsey Anzac/rte, Oct. 95.
