An Oakville man has been charged with assault following a Boxing Day fight over a mall parking space. The fight broke out Dec. 26 in the parking lot of Square One shopping centre in Mississauga. A video posted to Twitter shows two men grappling and taking swings. A small crowd begins to assemble in the packed lot, and another man in a grey jump suit approaches the men to break them apart. The next shot shows one of the men wiping the blood from his nose and mouth as four people in the area begin to walk away. I haven't even made it inside the mall yet." Peel Police also tweeted Dec. 26, "Officers at Square One arrested 2 parties in assault over a parking spot. Yes, we said it `a parking spot'.
