Iroquois veterans hold powwow on weekend
EXPOSITOR STAFF, Ohsweken

The North American Iroquois Veterans' Association will hold its annual two-day Traditional Powwow and fashion show starting today.

The powwow is at Johnson's Log Cabin grounds on Highway 54, just west of Chiefswood Road.

The Grand Entries, one of the most popular and colorful portion of many powwows, will be at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. today and at 1 p.m. on Sunday.

The drum will be Whistling Chant from Rice Lake, near Peterborough. Other drums are welcome.
